Since Medium does not offer a way to organize content efficiently, I tried to summarize key articles I wrote and give you some perspectives about what you will find on my Medium page.

The 4 Topics I write about and why

Product Management : 10 years working on tech projects. In particular, I was CPO at ManoMano, French Scale Up in DIY space (e-commerce market-place) between 2017 and 2020.

Business : founder / late founder of 3 companies (not all were successes !) both in the Product and Services (consulting) spaces .

Management : I have been a manager for 12+ years (again, not always perfect !). My latest venture aims at making people fulfilled in their jobs through the WILL method (offering a new way of working to solve our most frequent problems at work such as misalignment, overload, conflicts, collaboration..).

Education : I love teaching, mainly through 2 trainings: Discovery training, a 5x1H30 training explaining how to conduct impactful discovery and a a 10x1H30 Management training, the WILL Academy, changing your way of managing and making you a better manager.

1/ Most read Product Management articles

Start with one of the most read article, The making of a product-centric organization: key takeaways from the French scale-up ManoManoBusiness. This one is a long format (41 mins reading time) that summarizes the key takeaways from the scale of the ManoMano’s Product team (from 1 team to 25) and challenges along the way. No bullshit! This article points towards more detailed articles about recruitment, make or buy decision grid, product organization, how being data-driven might be dangerous (also one the most read articles)…

The Product Pyramid might also be very useful to escape unproductive discussions and adopt a very powerful framework to address all your product issues.

Product Discovery articles

You probably think you are user-centric, aren’t you? This article might make you reconsider what it really takes to be user-centric.

Then, dive into the 6 common pitfalls you might do on User Research before reading one of the most impactful article about the art of the Interview. You can then read a compelling case study demonstrating the power of active listening (vs. question-based interviews).

Product Strategy articles

Another popular article deals with the vanity of Product Prioritization Frameworks: Product Strategy: what if we stopped hiding behind frameworks?.

If you are new in a company and you want to make it more product centric, have a look at this article : Why do so many Product Centricity transformations fail ?

2/ Most read Business articles

These two French articles are both long formats and definitely rang some bells in the start-up French Ecosystem! For English readers, Google translate offers a great translation.

The first one tries to understand why, despite some decent successes in the start-up area, France did not manage to give birth to really big unicorns. The reasons according to me: lack of management culture, product centricity and long term engagement. See comment libérer le plein potentiel de nos start-ups ?

The second one was published one year later at a time were 100M$+ fundraisings were in the news every other day. Through a fictive novel, it tries to highlight how our obsession for growth fueled by always bigger fundraisings can lead us to poor economical and human decisions : La fable du leveur et de l’éleveur.

3/ Most read Management and eduction articles

This article resonated a lot with many managers! I explain why I was a bad manager while wanting to do well. 2 key reasons are I was “unconsciously incompetent” and companies do not favor good management practices. Several case studies will demonstrate these two points! You will find other articles about management, mainly in French, in the WILL section of my medium page: why the recruiting ecosystem is broken, why the way address fulfillment at work could be better...

I share some lessons I learn about how to teach well through amazing I trainings attended or great books I read. And finally, how NLP helped me solve my child’s spelling troubles!

Let’s keep in touch ?
